Word from the President

Dear fellow citizens,

As I have traveled across our country, I have been confronted, like many Cameroonians, with realities that demand attention: irregularities in the management of public affairs, unequal opportunities, persistent youth unemployment, and still-insufficient support for our startups. Today there is hardly a sector of activity that is not struggling: nearly everything needs restructuring. These observations call not for resignation, but for responsibility. It is in this spirit that the Front for Reform and Progress (FRP) was born: the conviction that change is built within the legal framework, through dialogue and constructive civic engagement.

We are also aware of a reality too often left unspoken: if so many Cameroonians choose exile, it is not out of a desire to leave, but from a lack of real opportunities at home. Keeping our talents means, first and foremost, offering them the conditions to succeed here.

Our motto, Democracy – Efficiency – Progress, reflects our approach. Our slogan, «We are the reform!», is an invitation to take part, in accordance with our institutions, in building a fairer and more prosperous Cameroon.

I therefore invite every Cameroonian woman and man, wherever they may be, to join us in great numbers: it is by being many that our voices will carry and that change will become a shared reality.
